Harmony View

On the high mesa of Missouri Heights, a strong wind blows dry air. The landscape is dotted with historic remains of one-room country schools dating back to the early settlers of the 1880s, working farms and homesteads. The hilltop community spreads out and back toward Cattle Creek with direct views of Mount Sopris. This project is the design of a single-family home  that is focused on passive design strategies, an age-in-place mentality, and a multi-layered connection to the land.
